Little Duckling Photography Courses

By booking a course you are acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below.

Camera

These terms and conditions apply to all participants of courses, workshops and 121 mentoring sessions. The term ‘course’ is used to cover all types of session in these terms & conditions.

 Booking

  • The full fee for the course must be made upon booking. 
  • By booking a course, you are confirming they you have read the course description on the website. 
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet any prerequisites of the course on which you are booked, and that the course content meets your requirements.
  • Your place is secure once you have made payment and received your order confirmation (usually within 48 hours of booking).
  • Course prices are subject to change at any time, but any changes will not affect prior bookings that have already been confirmed by us.
  • In order to book a course, you must be at least 18 years of age with the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Parents or guardians may book courses for teenagers and children providing the course is designated as such, or providing a conversation has been held with Little Duckling to confirm suitability. 

General

  • If you are unsure if a particular course is suitable, please contact us before booking.
  • Unless otherwise stated, it is your responsibility to provide a camera, associated photographic equipment, suitable clothing and food when attending a course. 
  • All personal possessions, including but not limited to, your photographs or any camera/computer equipment, are the sole responsibility of you. Little Duckling accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft or otherwise that may occur whilst attending a course.
  • Little Duckling reserve the right to make any reasonable variations to courses, including the content and location of the courses, without notice.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

Cancellation

If we need to cancel the following applies:

  • Little Duckling reserves the right to cancel or alter course dates, venues and location where necessary without liability. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to provide notice of cancellation or change to the Client in a timely manner. In the event of cancellation, you will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee, but Little Duckling will not be liable for any other loss or expense arising.

If you need to cancel the following apply:

  • If you can no longer attend a course, you can nominate another person to attend the same course date in your place. This will incur no charge.
  • If you can no longer attend a course and notify us at least 14 calendar days before the course starts, you can transfer to the same course on another date at no extra cost.
  • If you can no longer attend a course and notify us less than 14 calendar days before the course starts you may be able to transfer to the same course on another date at no extra cost if we can re-sell your place.
  • You shall be deemed to have cancelled your booking if you do not attend the course.

 

Intellectual Property

  • Little Duckling remains the owner of the intellectual property in the course content and associated materials. Little Duckling grants you a non-exclusive non-transferable licence for you to use the content for the sole purpose of your own non-commercial use in connection with your attendance on the course.
  • You must not allow access to the course content and associated materials to any third party
